"Wishing you well...

... we say our last goodbye"... This song by Stanfour sort of fits this day.

Tonight we're going to say goodbye to this year, the year 2010. Oh what a great year it was!

I started it in Kennewick and I am going to end it in Wiedenbrück. So much happened this past year:

I lived with a new family

I went to YoungLife and also started going to Campaigners

And I went to LYO

And Cluster. These four youthgroups were just amazing! I love these people so much and I had so much fun with them! :)

I went to the Kamiakin High School and experienced the most amazing assemblies and basketball games, classes and other events.

I hiked my first mountain... Badger Mountain... A small one, but still..

I had my very first Dairy Queen ice cream cake

I went to Prom and to Baccelaureate and was part of the Graduation ceremony

I am a proud owner of (by now) two pairs of TOMs

I went to amazing Cities with my family, like Seattle, San Francisco, LA and Vegas

And I also got the chance to go to Disney Land!!

I said goodbye to my American family and friends

I came back to Germany and saw all my friends again

I started school in Germany again, made new friends and had a lot of fun

I went to the Needtobreathe concert in Cologne

And had an amazing Winter

It was a great year indeed.

So now I am really excited about what the next year is going to bring!
I hope your year 2010 was as awesome as mine and I also hope that 2011 is going to be even better for you! :)

Guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr!
And a Happy New Year!!!

Christmas went by so fast...

... and I am really sad about it. But it truly was an awesome Christmas!!! I would even say it was one of the best ever! It was great being back in Germany and spending all three days with the whole family which consists of my grandparents (my mom's parents), my greatgrandma, my parents, my sister and me. So we had three awesome dinners, all of us seven and we ate soooo much!!! :D

Dinner from Christmas Eve
Dinner from tonight
I didn't even realize how I missed the food last year!! It was an amazing experience, celebrating an American Christmas, but "my German one" is truely the best ;)

The presents I got are also awesome!! I got a new pair of TOMS! My second one ever! I love them! They look so Christmas-y ;))
Our Christmas tree :)

yes we have a new tradition! :D original American ones! :)

My TOMS!!!!!!! :D

I also got a zillion books (of which I've read three already but they were all really thin). I am so glad I finally got some time to read! I haven't had any these past few months because school was so exhausting...

But yeah.. nothing else happened over the past few weeks that I haven't blogged... Except that it snowed even more and that I can't find my cell phone anymore.. But oh well..
I hope New Year's is gonna be blast this year! :D

Good night everyone :)

Es schneit, es schneit, kommt alle aus dem Haus....

.... die Welt, die Welt sieht wie gepudert aus! :)

I think this is definitely the best Winter I've had in a loooong time!!! It's been snowing for pretty much three or four days straight now! :) I'm lovin' it!! I haven't had this much snow in like... forever :D haha .. Well maybe not forever but definitely in a long time!

Oh and I did go out and take some pictures...

My favorite :)

I took my math final on Friday and it went really well! I'm glad I'm done with it! Tuesday I have my German final and then Wednesday is the last day of school before Christmas break. I am soooo excited for Christmas!!! I think Christmas is my favorite holiday :)

I also went to the Christmas market in Osnabrück on Saturday, a city about an hour away from where I live. It was a really big Christmas market but really cute! I got a new scarf, the shoes I wanted and new headphones. A really good day indeed! :) And the Caramel moccha I had at the Starbucks there completed the day!

I finally managed to watch Narnia today! Good movie although I don't like the part where Lucy goes to Tumnus' house just because he tells her she'll get food and stuff! As kids we're always told that we must NEVER EVER go with a stranger. And now this girl does exactly this in a children's movie!!! I think Disney kinda failed in this movie... But all in all it was a great movie ;)

Well.. I'm going to watch Ice Age now... :) Funny movie!

Good night, Eileen
