Hello there,
So I'll finally make it to the United States of America in about 24 hours or so! Gosh, I seriously can't wait until I touch American ground again! And speak English, eat at ihop, Applebees, Red Robin, DAIRY QUEEN!!! :D haha and go shopping at Walmart and Target and Aeropostle and Abercrombie and Macy's and Bath and Body Works and Barnes and Noble where they only sell books in English!!! Geez, I think I'm obsessed :D haha oh well... Gosh, I'm just so excited! I just can't wait.. Oh I already said that..
Well, I better end this post before it gets too boring ;)
Prayers for save travels would be nice ;)
Love you all and I'll keep you posted on how things are going in North Carolina! :)
Love, Eileen

goosebumps
This song gives me goosebumps. I was just introduced to this amazing artist a few days ago and haven't discovered all his songs yet. But only by listening to one song I can tell how brilliant he is! He has such an amazing voice and feeling for music.
Ugh.. I think I'm in love!
Came across this verse today while finally answering Jessi's letter.

good books and good workouts
Hello there,
So I just got home from the court club. Worked out and then jogged for half an hour. Even made it through the whole 30 minutes without having to stop or walk! That's pretty good since I haven't been jogging in a while. We have to run two kilometers (a little over a mile) for PE. I think we have either 12 or 16 minutes to do that... I hope it's 16 because I might be able to do that! :) That'd be awesome!
I'm in the middle of midterms at the moment. Already took English and Latin this week. I think both went pretty well. At least I hope so. Next week, German and Math are coming up and right after I get back from the States I have to take Social Studies and Bio... We'll see how those go.
I've been reading a lot lately. I read "The Last Song" and "Nights in Rodanthe" both by Nicholas Sparks. He's such an amazing author. He knows exactly how women feel and what we want in a man. I usually don't like sad endings. I seriously NEED happy ends! But Sparks manages to combine sad and happy endings. I always ball my eyes out because people die or seperate but in the end either everything turns out well or he teaches you a very interesting and precious lesson.
But honestly, reading his books, his stories, they give us women hope that there is that perfect guy for us out there. That can be good or bad. Either you get your expectations so way up high that you'll never find anyone who could ever fulfill that or (which would be the good thing) you take his stories as stories, still hoping for such a man, but at the same time knowing that you might not find one like that. It's still a story after all. I guess what I'm trying to say is this:
Don't ever settle for someone who is not good for you or won't let you be yourself or whatever, but go for those who are just themselves, accepting and loving you for who you are and when you two work out well together, then don't let him go. Besides, nobody's perfect. Not even the guy you're waiting for. :)
So I hope you got my point. ;)
Love, Eileen
PS: Nicholas' Sparks wife (if he has one) can consider herself lucky to have such a man on her side who understands us women better than we often understand ourselves ;)
