Hello there :)
I haven't blogged in a while. I didn't really know what to write about but since I am actually supposed to be studying I thought I'd take some time to blog :D haha... I am a procrastinator...
My weekend was pretty good. Friday was my grandpa's birthday and we went out for dinner to our Greek restaurant. It was fun. I always love eating and hanging out there. :)
Saturday I had school (Drama) from 9 to 3 pm... We got lots of stuff done but still have lots of stuff to do. Some people were missing again cause they don't care so they slow down everything. It was definitely tiring. When I finally got home I went straight to bed and fell asleep almost immediately. I slept til like 6... I guess I needed it. :D haha Then I hung out with a couple friends which was fun. They bbq'ed and I ate my salad.. Sad life of a vegetarian :D haha Oh well.
Sunday was just lazy. I pretty much didn't do anything except sleeping, watching tv and sleeping :D
Monday I got to sleep in. PE was cancelled and so I had to go for 5th hour. Good start into a week full of studying. Which I did Monday night cause today I took my German midterm. It went alright. We had to analyze poems. Not my favorite thing to do but I hope it worked out.
Also my friend Vanessa came to our school today. That was fun. Haven't seen her in a while. For lunch we went to McDonalds since she has a car. She's moving to my town which is awesome especially since she's gonna be living a street away :D Tomorrow I'll probably get to see her house from the inside :D haha :)
Well.. What else is there? Uhm.. I skyped with Karyn on Friday! That was awesome! :) I love her! It is so great that there are adults that like hanging out with teenagers and that support them in everything. That's kind of what I am missing here. I mean my parents are always there for me and everything, but the YL leaders always treat you differently than your parents do. That's one thing I love about YL. I hope I can be a leader some day! That'd be amazing!
Well... I'd better get back studying.... I'll be taking my Social Studies midterm on Friday -.- No fun...
Have a great day and night and week :)

Ecclesiastes 3: 11-12
"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live."
I think that sums up everything I believe in. Or at least most of it.
We are never going to understand or realize what God did, does, will do and especially can do. And we are not supposed to. We are supposed to trust Him and leave it all up to Him. It'll all turn out good in the end if we do so.
We are supposed to "be happy and do good while we live". This is what I try to do. I mean it often doesn't work out but I think it's worth a shot. And that usually makes me happy. Also "being happy" and "doing good" usually goes together. I am happy when I did something good.
And if we stop worrying about what might happen and just leave it all to God then we will be so much happier!
I don't really want to live my life not being happy! That would be a waste. Being truly happy is hard but I think we can manage it. I at least try. :)

Hello there! :)
This is my 75th post. At least that's what my dashboard says. This is 3/4 of 100!!! That is simply amazing! I know I could've blogged more but just thinking about writing the 100th post just makes me happy and excited and all!! :)
Sooo... What happened since Sunday afternoon?
Well, I went to the movies with Gokus. We watched Kokowääh which is a really funny and cute movie about a man who is "dating" a few women at the same time when an 8-year-old girl shows up at his apartment telling him that she is supposed to live with him because her mother is in New York. Turns out he is her real father and in the end he starts dating his ex wife, who he had cheated on with the mother of the girl, again and everyone's happy, especially the girl cause now she has two fathers, her real one and the one who she always thought was her father.
So yeah, hilarious and cute. :)
Monday I didn't feel too good so I skipped PE so I only had two classes. In the evening I picked up Katharina from the train station. I haven't seen her in a while so it was great to hang out with her. We went for a walk and then out for dinner at an Italian restaurant. It was delicious and fun! :) I'm glad I have such good friends! :)
Today I had eight hours of school with two hours being free periods. Went to a café with Pia and talked and talked. :) When I finally managed to get home, a letter from the amazing Molly Walker was waiting for me!!! I love getting letters! That just made my day! :) Writing and getting letters is so much more personal and private than emails and facebook. Although I am glad that it is so easy to stay in touch nowadays, I still like letters better! :)
Again, I am so thankful for my amazing friends! :)
So... Tonight is going to be filled with studying. I have my first midterm on Friday... Math -.- Ugh! Well at least I don't have to worry about math anymore after that. At least not until the final :D
Alright, I'd better get going.
Love and miss ya'll tons ;)

week 10
Hello there :)
Yesterday was Saturday. It was a good day indeed! :) I had literature for a few hours which was alright. Actually I didn't hear my alarm clock so I only had 20 minutes to get ready. So now I know that I actually can get ready in 20 minutes instead of an hour :D haha
When I got home around 1ish I took a nap with my mom for at least an hour. That was well needed. This weekend is the last relaxed weekend before midterms. So I tried to enjoy it :D haha
Last night I went out for cocktails with a couple friends. That was fun too! :) Lot's of talking. I'm kind of sick of boring days at home in front of the computer or tv.
Today's my dad's birthday. Right now the family's here for coffee and cake! Good thing that I'm not giving up cake for lent... I think I wouldn't survive that. Especially since we have three birthdays in our family only in March! I just LOVE cake! No.. scratch that... I AM ADDICTED!!! :D haha
Tonight I'mma go to the movie theater with a friend! I'm pretty stoked! Haven't hung out with Gokus in like forever! :)
Well, I'd better get back to the party :D haha
Hope your weekend was as great as mine! :)

dreams.
Hello there :)
Today has been a pretty good day. I got to sleep in because some classes were cancelled. I went grocery shopping, cooked and relaxed at home :D That was definitely well needed!
I went to school an hour earlier than I actually had to because of some project for my social studies class. We had to film something, but guess what? Nobody had a camera with them, with which we could film. And in English class we didn't do anything either... So I came to school for nothing. Again. I think I'm just going to skip when I have to go to school for only one hour again!
Oh well. The weather has not been too charming lately. It's always cloudy and somewhat rainy. I hope it gets better soon! Otherwise it's going to affect my mood.
I worked out twice this week and I am thinking to go jogging on Saturday. Or something like that. It felt really good! It was exhausting though. ;) I have a pair of jeans that I bought and actually never really fit into it. It was supposed to get me going :D haha.. epic fail I'd say :D So I took that out today and it still didn't fit and since I also have a New Year's Resolution that is supposed to make me work out more, I'm hoping that this is finally going to work :D We'll see ;)
So, what else is there to say? Not much.
Oh I watched Inception. The movie about dreams, where you can steel information from somebody and plant ideas into somebody while they're dreaming. It's with Leo and that girl from Juno. It's pretty darn good. I watched it in English and I understood most of it which made me happy. But you have to watch it several times to understand it. It's pretty complex and intense.
Also I skyped with Jessi last night! That was so awesome! I miss her so much. I'm so glad that there's skype. Skyping with my friends keeps me grounded. That it all happened. And it brings back the memories. Can't wait to see them all again. ;)
Hope your day or night is going to be more eventful than mine! :D haha

This guy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, plays Arthur in Inception... Definitely my favorite character! He is so darn cute! :D hahaha

ugh...
Hello there! :)
I am so dang ready for spring break!! But guess what? Yes, I have to wait more than a month!!! I don't know how I am supposed to survive the mid terms coming up next week... I am craving for a break.
Also I realized today that I already failed a lot of my New Year's Resolutions... Ugh... Need to get back focused on that!
Remember when I told you about the "Positive Challenge"? It's about not saying anything negative for 24 hours. I have to admit that I never made it. So since I need to change something in my behavior I'll start there and pick the challenge up again. Hopefully that'll help me be more positive and not as grumpy and demotivated as I have been lately.
Last night I went to the court club again. Spinning. That was almost suicide. It was so dang hard! :D But it feels good to be moving again! I'm gonna go again tomorrow and if the weather is good I'm planning on going jogging again on the weekend! :)
Jessi posted this video on Facebook: Nick Howard 'Falling for you'. This is so cute! :)
Alright. I'd better go. Gotta read a paper for English class.
Love ya,
Good night,
Eileen

back on the blog ;)
It's been a long time since I last blogged. Sorry 'bout that. It's funny though how almost all of my blogger friends needed a break too.
Not a whole lot of interesting stuff happened since my last post.
A friend of my English teacher came to our class. She is a teacher in London. She told us about life there and multiculturalism since that is our topic at the moment. It was so awesome hearing someone speak perfect English! I miss being around English a lot!
This weekend I went on a school trip to Weimar, a city in East Germany where Goethe and Schiller, two famous German writers, lived. Also the former concentration camp Buchenwald is close by. Well we had a lot of fun! Lots of drinking and partying.
Buchenwald was crazy though. It was hard seeing where so many people lived under these hard conditions and where they died.
We got back on Saturday. I was home by 6:30 ish and I fell asleep probably before 8. I was so tired and exhausted.. :D I slept half of the day on Sunday. :D I definitely needed it!
Last night I cooked dinner with Johanna and Kathrin. That was fun! It actually turned out really good! :D We also watched "The Hangover". I just love this movie! It's so hilarious :D. The English version is way better than the German though... No surprise :D
I think I'mma bake a cake today. Haven't baked in a while. I think it's gonna be chocolate. :)
Alrighty,
Hope your day is gonna be as great as mine! :)
